Every year, the DPD Program hosts and co-sponsors events that create opportunities for OSU community members to engage with multidisciplinary scholarship on difference, power, and discrimination; critical pedagogies; and curriculum transformation. If you are planning an on-campus event that aligns with the programmatic goals of DPD, a modest amount of DPD funding may be available to support your event.

Eligibility:

All campus event organizers are welcome to apply for funds. Funding is dependent on available program resources.

To Apply:

Submit a letter of request (no more than 1 page) to Nana Osei-Kofi at least 8 weeks before the event date, that:

  • lists the event organizers
  • provides a description of the event or program (location, date, etc.)
  • indicates the prospective audience and attendance
  • describes the programmatic purpose
  • includes an estimated budget, the amount requested, and if possible, the specific expense for which requested funds will be used

Applicants will receive a reply once the request has been received, and notification of status will be sent within one week (excluding campus holidays). If funded, DPD is to be identified as a co-sponsor on all marketing materials.
